G2 starter generator

I am doing an engine swap. Took out original engine and put in duromax 16 hp motor. I know the starter that comes on the motor can not maintain the battery with lights and radio. I want to wire the original starter generator to charge my battery and not use to start the motor. How do I hook it up to do this?

Wiring wise the S/G needs no changes.To drive the S/G with the stock clutch just align the pulleys. With the comet 780 clutch you need a pulley such as Vegascarts sells. The only real wiring change needed is a way to shut off the clone. Sho's sticky on the 5 pin relay is on this in the big block clone section. the other method is a simple kill switch.Don't mix the 2 systems without the relay. Please note you should move to the clone big block section.
