Reverse Buzzer always buzzing
2003 Ezgo Pds.
Buzzer was removed and voltage gauge was installed using the buzzer wires. Grn/blk and red wire. traced to pins 5 and 10 on plug j1 on controller. any ideas? Trouble indicator is useless without buzzer. |

I had the same issue off and on before my cart died. Wondering if it's a problem with the key assembly or a problem with my controller?

Hi, I'm having this same problem with my TXT PDS. Reverse buzzer always on whenever run/tow is on RUN. Not a continuous tone, but beep, beep, beep...
I'm looking for code to troubleshoot cart in limp mode 80% of the time. New batteries, speed sensor with cable, magnet, solenoid. Cables tight and crimps are good. Voltage at least 36v under load. |

Hi all, could anything other than a bad controller cause the reverse buzzer to be on all the time?
I verified it's connected to pin 5 and 10 and no continuity between. I guess that would explain it being in limp mode most of the time... Thanks. |

Pin-5 is a voltage input to the controller. The beeper is also connected to the B+ by the same wire. The beeper is turn on when Pin-10 is connected to B- through the controller.
Try putting the controller in diagnostic mode and listen for a beeped error code. Text at bottom of attached PDS label tells you how to get into diagnostic mode. Also attached a schematic for a PDS. If controller is bad, replace it with an Alltrax XCT48400-PDS. |

Thanks. When entering diagnostic mode the beeping pauses for a second, beeps 4 times (Freedom plug is installed), then starts beeping continuously again.
Is that the "1-1 Controller Failure" code? The cart does move, it's just in limp mode most of the time. I did a frame up refurb on this one- paint matched to the buyers new corvette! |
