Wont stop beeping and wont move
I have a 1998 Txt DCS cart and cart will not stop beeping and will not move. Continues to beep even with key off unless put in tow mode. Switch to run with key on or off and just get continuous beeping and will not move? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Possible corrosion in the harness, or possible failed controller.

have 39.6 volts getting to solenoid however when in run mode cant seem to get any voltage out of solenoid. When in tow mode shows 36 volts out of solenoid?

Not sure what you are referring to when you say solenoid resistor. I will check voltage across small terminals

More than likely a blown controller. Replace it with an Alltrax XCT48400 or larger.
FWIW: The solenoid's battery side large terminal is connected directly to the battery pack's main positive terminal and should read battery pack voltage whether the Run/Tow switch is in Run or Tow and and the controller side large terminal ought to read slightly less than pack voltage regardless of Run/Tow switch status, if precharge resistor/diode assembly is installed Attachment-1 is schematic for DCS drive. Attachment-2 is picture of precharge resistor/ diode assembly. |
