Txt or medalist spindle on marathon

Will a txt or medalist spindle fit on a marathon? I can’t seem to find a replacement for the marathon.

I am pretty sure it wont. Its a completely different set up as far as i recall, but i am sure someone will confirm.

The Medalist has a 3-bolt steering setup and any pre-2001.5 TXT spindle will fit. Check with your local dealers as they may have boxes of old used ones kicking around that they do not want. I know I have a stack of them as I convert all 3-bolt frames to 4-bolt steering frames. So I never use the old front ends and still don't have the heart to send them to the metal recycler.

The steering setup for the Medalist (which is just a TXT) was changed in mid-year 2001.5 to the recent config. When looking for the part you need to search for 1995-2001.5 in the descriptions for your front suspension. The older 3-bolt style are longer than the current ones.
