Default 99 36v ezgo txt series goes slow then kicks in

I have a 1999 36v txt series cart put in new crown batteries last year and 4ga wires it ran good for a month or two and started going slow to start but then will finally kick in and go quicker like it always did. sometimes you have to go 100 yards before it wants to kick in, I checked battery cables for being snugged up and they are tight. is there a switch from the pedal or is it just the solenoid and controller? Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance

Monitor the battery pack voltage while driving to see if it jumps up higher when the cart starts going faster.

Battery pack may have an intermittent cable.

What I'm doing is splitting the possibilities of what is likely to be causing the problem, which is the voltage to the motor is getting higher intermittently.

If the pack voltage, which is going to bounce all over the place, is fairly consistent when it runs slow and runs fast, the problem is the controller, or the motor, or the throttle, or the high amps cables after the battery pack.
