96 Club Car Coil Issue
Can anyone tell me if and when in 96 they started using a 97 style coil? I have a 96 that loses spark, it is the craziest thing. If I use it starting and stopping it will lose spark after about 15 minutes, so I put it in nuetral and propped the gas and ran it for over an hour, I shut it off put it in gear and boom no spark. I put a new coil for a 96 and no spark ,put the old one in and had spark, put another new one in and no spark. The only thing I can figure is this thing uses a 97 coil. And ideas? Also there is nothing behind my rev limiter.
Thanks, Dewey |

If you heave a 97 coil it has the igniter as part of it.

Re: 96 Club Car Coil Issue
Try unplugging the grounding circuit from the motor and try it.
That will point toward an issue with the carts electrical system or the motors ignition system. |
