So it is a series cart with an alltrax and the solenoid clicks but no movement.... Check at the motor and the F&R for a broken cable connection....also at the battery to vehicle Pos & Neg connections. Make sure those are tight and give them a tug to see if they are solid... It is rare that a solenoid will click and not make contact but it does happen? Cable from one large terminal to the other for testing the solenoid...

cable connections have been inspected. nothing loose or broken. cart was running and died in motion. jumping the soleniod made no difference. direction switch has been replaced before b/c of this problem. switch feels (too) tight, was very slow in reverse prior to problem. I can see the contact bolts with the switch 1/2 turned and they look like they have seen better days. nothing looks burnt but my buddy reports smelling something burning prior to failure.

I will get the whole pack voltage as soon as I can get down there. We have had heavy rains today. Recent logging activity requires me to stay off the roads until things dry out a little.

Can anyone tell me what wires to remove from the switch pack and reconnect for forward only. I need to get it back to the shed. That would also help me confirm the switch is the issue. Thanks
