Default 87 Ez Go

I have an 87 ezgo rear end. When i pulled the motor of it has the input gear on the motor shaft. Any one familiar with this set up. I was trying to find out the gear ratio and what type of motor it has on it.Appears to be much better built than most golf cart motors.

1986 1/2 - 1987 rears and motor are unique. The motor has a straight keyed shaft 3/4" shaft (I think). I only have a service manual. I haven't seen any information on this forum about this particular year. I know in the past year there are several owners of this setup. Including me...There has to be someone out there that has some information on this setup... Who wants to write up a STICKY on this?

12.44 sounds familiar now that you mention it. Now I just got to remember it. I'm getting so old I need to start writing notes to myself.
