GMB is correct Lady Bug I wired mine open but I dont fool with the oil injector I took all that off because I pre mix my oil in the gas tank. I run the heck out of my 81 G1 mostly full throttle at all times so I wanted to make sure it got enough oil to the engine.

if i keep the oil injector is there any possibility that i can drill out the governor arm that sits on the rear end so that the spline just wont be able to turn it?

That's what i was wondering too, drill out the arm and leave the bolt out then drill and tap a hole in the top of the gov shaft for a small bolt and washer to keep the arm in place and just let it float on the shaft.

Somebody on here has done just that. Do a search for the thread. I think they even had pictures of how they did it.
