Cool batt. lug melted

I have a 2003 with speed chip. If I leave it for 2 to 3 weeks the batteries will run down. But this past weekend 1 of the terminals on a battery melted. Any ideas what to look for would be helpful. Thanks

Welcome to BGW!

How old and what brand are the batteries? Any mods done to the cart? Accessories?

Will the radio work with the key in the off position? If it does, the place that installed the voltage converter may have it wired to be on all the time. It will draw your batteries down if not connected to the charger.
