88 EZGO exhaust
What is the best way to make my 88ezgo 2-stroke gas golf cart quite enough to take out to the golf course? My exhaust is pretty rusty, and I am going to replace the exhaust system, but will that make it quite enough to take to the golf course? I was wondering if they were any other ways to make it as quite as possible. I know it is going to be a little loud, but if you could give me any advice to keep the noise down as low as possible I would sure appreciate it. Thank you for your time and patience.

Re: 88 EZGO exhaust
I have an 88 also and it is quiet with the stock exhaust. Just get a new exhaust and it should be fine.

Re: 88 EZGO exhaust
the head pipe (from the cylinder to the muffler) is laid out a little different on 88's than other year 2PG's, and it's very succeptible to damage from debris, rocks, terrain, etc - before you get too crazy with a new exhaust, climb under the cart and make sure there are no stress cracks or holes, etc in yours (I almost bought a new system for my '88 until I did just that, turned out $15 at a local muffler shop was enough to get the breaches welded up and it purrs like a kitten now) ...
