Re: 48V Conversion A Success
I bought a 48V Lestronic 2 charger on Craig's List for $100. What a deal. I bought a 48V receptacle and had the wiring harness for the new receptacle done by my local shop. I installed everything. I've got $900-$1000 in the conversion. I have a 500 amp GE Controll in the used parts section for $350. It was repaired under warranty like new condition. It didn't show back up in time for the 48V conversion after it was repaired so I bought an Alltrax.

Just an observation..... If you run those 2 HD zipties under the caps next time, you won't have to keep cutting them everytime you check your water.
Looks good. |

Re: 48V Conversion A Success
Yes, but I have a whole bag of tie wraps. I have numerous electrical supply houses in my area. I can get more. Lol I was struggling what to use that would be pliable and really secure the batteries. That was my best brainstorm. Any better ideas?

Re: 48V Conversion A Success
I do not suggest purchasing these, but how about this for an idea (you seem to be handy at making things.....)
http://www.shopezgo.com/products/BAT...roduct_id=2791 The price on these has really come down from a couple years ago when E-Z-GO actually charged over $100 each for them lmao..... |

Sweet. I like it. I don't know if I could put time and effort when they are only
$34. |
