Trailering a cart w/Windshield
Does it hurt the windshield to tow a cart on a trailer at interstate speeds????

I have done it, but I also put a bungee cord across the front while it was folded for a a little extra support, but it it probably better to just remove it.

When I worked at E-Z-GO i trailered 4 carts at a time (usually all with windshields) and never had an issue with doing 75-80 MPH......

I always trailer mine with the windshield left on, just folded and tied down with a soft woven cord. I failed to do so once and it slammed into the open position while doing about 55 mph. Scared me to death. Sounded like a shot gun going off and couldn't believe it didn't shatter it. I always remember now. I pulled mind behind the 5th wheel all the way to The Smoky Mountains in early June this year and had no problems at all. I was going to remove it for that long ride, but when I took it off, it just looked like too much was missing. Gotten so used to it being on, it just looks ugly without it.

Never had a problem with the windshields, but I learned the hard way those PVC rain enclosures do not like to stay on when the cart's being towed!!

As I said on the other board, Decide what's important to you and run with it. It's not that hard to take off. So, risk the 80+ dollars or not??
