Question 89 marathon help

Ok i thought i read some where on the net that the front springs are different lengths on different models or styles? like 17" ,19" and 21" or something like that,
well im lifting my cart this weekend and if i could push the front end foward
2" or better for cheap welll i would do that.

so did i miss understand something or just cant find it again?

The Marathons 88-94 have a 2" shorter front spring than the pre 88's.My dad put my 85 springs in his 90 for the same reason you are,The front axle was back under the cart and looked odd.I may be wrong but i think the TXT springs are longer yet.I built my springs where i work,made them 3" longer than early marathons,but cut them back to 1-1/2" because it pushed the axle out too far.The pre-88's are 17" center-center on pins,my springs are 18-1/2".Look at my pics for an idea of how it looks(cart is 85 marathon w/TXT body.)
