DO NOT strip the wire and insert in plug cap while holding unit in one hand and pressing gas with other. I did that, before reading the directions, and shocked the hell out of myself. I think my buddy is still laughing and it's been two weeks since I did it.

Or just search eBay for ATV Tachometer. The one I used is the one with the S1 and S2 buttons on the front. I think I paid $9.99 and it was well worth the price.

BCM,Got a Brand name and part # of the belt ? I'll give it a shot. I know I have the shorter belt and a 28 degree clutch on my workhorse and it's just that. I have it in NY state right now and actully can rock climb with it.
