Default Additions for a 2000 EzGo

I am about to be an owner of a 2000 model ez go electric cart. My sole purpose for buying the cart is to soup it up for a hunting vehicle.

What are the most important additions I will need to put on it? I will be making modifications/additions as time/money allows. I would like to start with the most important and make my way towards the extras.

Thanks for the help

Is it a series motor or sepex (DCS/PDS) motor?
What kind of terrain will you be using it on?
What is your budget?

I'm not sure what kind of motor it is....it is from a golf course?
I will mainly be using it on dirt roads at the ranch. It won't need to climb any rocks or go through a foot of mud.
Like I said earlier, this is will simply be a "hobby" and I will only be adding things as money allows.

I am aware that there will be some upfront costs that will need to get me on my feet. This is what I am concerned with right now. (wiring, solenoids, lifts, etc....)

thanks again

It's important to know what you have before you can plan any upgrades.
It will be one of these (pick one):

I believe it is a series model but I will double check with my brother when he gets off work later this evening...

No matter what series it is, you will need to upgrade all cables to 4ga min. A golf course golf cart will come with 6ga.

Make sure your batts are in good shape. Full of water, clean, cables tight, etc.

If it is a series cart you will have more fun since the parts are not as expensive as dcs/pds carts.
