But the body of a TXT is plastic. It should weigh less.

Everything is heavier on a marathon. The frame to the gas peddle...... The only way to make a TXT out of a marathon is to sell the Marathon and buy a TXT

The TXT is definitely built for golfing as to the Marathon that fits its name(it'll go and go)The Marathons were built to last so they are built like a tank. But honestly, were not talking Drag-Racing.The weight difference is likely within 100lbs or so(guessing). With the proper set-up i think you can get the performance you are looking for.The bodies aren't really that heavy on the Marathon, but probably 40lbs more than TXT(body panels and brackets).

yes i no marathon ways more thats why i said a txt cart which is what i have, with marathon pot box and controller and motor which is what i have i put everything out of the marathon on to this txt and it runs great. i am going to upgrade to a 400 or 500 amp controller and a plumQuick motor and hd fnr.

What i was asking will this be close to a txt with 400 amp controller and plumQuick motor as far as speed and torque.

So, you have a txt with a marathon 400a controller and pot and want to know if it runs the same as a txt? I say yes ~ it is a txt with an upgraded controller? Or am I not understanding the question? Is it a txt motor or marathon motor? The marathon motor was smaller.
