98 gas club car running bad need help
it seems slugish on take off i pulled the plug it was pretty black whats the best way to tune the carb.

Try putting some of that Star-Tron additive in it for the alchohol gas and it should do the trick.

Black means running rich like the choke is partially on or dirty air filter.
What is your compression reading? You can try snake oils but I would save my money and spend it on a gallon of carb cleaner and tune up parts. Any black soot or deposits in the tailpipe? Carb high speed jet is fixed so no adjustment, low speed mixture screw is gently bottom out and screw out 1 1/2 turns to get it running then fine tune. |
