Question 1988 EZGO 36v Marathon resistor - wiring question

I'm working on a rebuild and am currently replacing the F/R assemply and contact resistor board (speed control). There were some loose contacts and I was getting 36V on the frame

I seem to be a little slow minded right now and have some dumb questions, certainly nothing to do with the beers...

Can someone clairfy the wiring on the solenoid, 3 micros and rev buzzer? This diagram doesn't seem complete. Where's the solenoid?

Also, my replacement contact board has 5 posts, instead of the 4 shown. I assume the bottom one is empty? Trying to clarify exactly which contact post the power side from the solenoid should be hooked up to.

I assume there micro switches need proper polarity as well?

Thanks in advance.

That diagram is missing the solenoid..... I don't know where we got that one?

But the solenoid would wire in-between BL+ and the 6 o'clock position on the F&R where it shows BL+ (44) going.

Hope this helps.

Still stumped... Tried that scottyb and still have mystery voltage.

I'm getting about 36.4V on the frame still (38.2 pack voltage) even without connecting anything to the bat pack negative terminal (ground)??? I've traced all wires for connection/shorts near the frame and found squat. Everything is brand new (batteries, 6# welding wires, solenoid, f/r, contact board/wiper) except the motor and rebuilt resistors. What the heck????

It ran fine, I just saw arching near the wiper and contacts and thought that was my voltage leak. New contact board and f/r assembly didn't help.

Think I need to wire it right! Diagrams (with solenoid and micro switches) or idears will be appreciated!

Batteries over full and leaking? OR spilling out vent holes under heavy charging? This is usually the cause and probably unrelated to your wiper board problem... do you have 12v lights? are they grounded to the frame?

The headlights started this ordeal. They would come on every time the cart ran, even without the switch on.

They are off the cart right now.

If it is enough amperage to run the lights then you have a ground wire attached to the cart somewhere? You need to remove that if you can.
