Re: G22 Project, WWII Jeep look
Just want people to know it works and it's pretty cheap and easy to do.
Maybe if I can ever get around to building my long travel style people will be referring to it as the Stickney lift. |

Yeah I know. No offense taken what so ever. I enjoy every bit of spirited joshin, it's one thing I truly enjoy about this site. Lots of help and good ideas along with a bunch of friendly banter.

Re: G22 Project, WWII Jeep look
Thanks for all the input. I am loving the look of that Jeep style hood. Are those still in production? Build will start this weekend, the boy is going camping and I will be doing the tear down.
6 inch lift is a definite, I will look at the spacers and fender flares. Matt |

Re: G22 Project, WWII Jeep look
honorstick,
I did some looking and you are correct, those bodies are not cheap... I am leaning toward just keeping what I have for now. Who knows, maybe one day I will have the time to attempt to make my own hood. I will have a better idea just how involved that will be once I pull the original body off and see what it looks like under all the plastic. Matt |
