Default G1 Radio installation

I am looking into installing a radio on my G1. I did a search on here under radio installation with no luck.. Any help would be great , and a how to would be a bonus. thank you you guys have been very helpful so far

I built a separate box for mine out of scrap plywood, you can see some pics in this thread:

There are also two more speakers mounted in the front of the rear body, where your legs would be. I covered those speakers and the wiring with some reflective heating duct tape to keep them safe.

I messed up measurements on the flip open radio cover, that's why the one cup holder is sitting so high. I used cup holders like you would put in a boat and lifted it with a scrap piece of PVC. The little screen vents on the side really improved the sound, not as tinny when the air has a place to go.
