question about checking resistance of MCOR

I have a 2009 precedent, 48volt with a MCOR II. The service manual says I should have 1 K ohms between the yellow wire and the purple/white wire when the pedal is fully up and 7.4 ohms when fully pressed. I have 7.4 ohms when fully pressed but I have 2400 ohms when fully up, will that cause the cart not to move? Is the MCOR bad? what other problems will that cause?

Can you post the serial # of your cart?

I am assuming you are just frustrated. Your serial # should be on the right side, right above where the passengers feet would be. As far as the MCOR, when you press it down do you hear the solenoid click? Are your batteries completely charged? Did you accidentally flip the run/tow switch? Does your reverse buzzer sound? Have you searched the archives? Sometimes it is a little tough to search, but I can assure you your problem has been solved here at sometime before.

the sticker with the serial number is gone. no power coming out of the wiring harness that is some kind of connector used in 09 only, part number 103682701, none of the dealers have one, does anyone know if it can be disconnected?

Sounds like a throttle positioning sensor and no it can not be removed. My suggestion if you are planning on any future upgrades such as controller upgrades is to purchase an IQ harness and eliminate that jumper and go with an MCOR-4. You will then be able to upgrade your electronics in the future, and have club car's "best" version of MCOR. This is just what I would do....probably overkill, but I like to look toward the future and the wiring harness you have now won't work with most aftermarket controllers.
