Default All stock 08 precedent iq but installing a 500 amp controller & wires

Hello BGW friends! Will i see an increase in speed/torque if I install a 500amp controller on my stock 08 Precedent? The controller now is only 250 amp & Id like to climb some steep hills with a flip flop seat on back. I just got a 6" lift kit installed also.
Thanks!
Shane

You will need to upgrade all cables to at least 4 gauge. It should help hold your speed going up hills. If you do a lot of heavy load work it will need a stronger motor. It just goes on and on. Kind of like catch 22.

I have an 08 and just upgraded it. What will happen you will end up wearing out the motor quicker than normal using it like that, mine after taking off I noticed it was getting too hot on the windings, eventually it would have burned out.
For more torque on a shunt motor go with 2 gauge wires and 500 curtis controller, easier to swap out, I have the details on my thread if needed. PM me if you want more details.
