Morgan 44 What material did you use to build weld / solder that intake.I am looking to make an intake for my clone powered g14 with a 1 1/4 45 street el and vegascarts intake.I was going to use buna n hose as connecters but if copper and aluminum can be fused it woud be better.

Lots of carbs that do/can fit, but Morgan came back to 2mm over the stock 88 carb size, so I doubt you'll need a big upsize there.
The later, quieter Yamaha DT250 used a 28mm and made a mellow 17hp@5500, so no need to get huge. 20 or so on the less-EPA'd versions.

Awesome thanks again. I don't have to worry about any EPA crap. I'm probably going to be running a non ethanol and avgas mix in mine. would you be able to tell me a part # or where to find the carb you speak of?

You don't need av-gas, unless you're flying an airplane ;)
These engines are still very understressed.

Mikuni VM26 is what Morgan looks to have used. You'll need a used one from a similar application, or will have to do a complete jetting routine.

No, I had a Boyesen set here, and trimmed it a little. I only used the top pedal, as these run pretty low revs, compared to the RM125 they were for.

You can buy blank sheets of the petal material too.
