08 EZGO TXT no forward but will reverse

Hello,

Have a 08 EZGO TXT gas powered cart. I recently had an issue with this car in which it will not go forward. The drive belt will continually spin and the motor revs up. I changed out the drive clutch thinking this was my issue. After a long test drive yesterday I had no problem. As I was getting ready to return it this morning it started acting up again. The motor revs up fine and spins at the correct RPM but cart will not catch. The driven clutch seems to be operating correctly. I also observed that it runs fine when the cart is lifted and has no load. Soon as I put the wheels on the ground it gives me problems. What I am thinking that it may have something to do with the transmission. Is there anything anyone can think of that I may have missed?

again to summarize:

-No forward, only reverse.
-motor operates as it should
-New drive clutch
-new belt
-seems to be load specific

Sounds like you have a strip hub in the rear wheels, with cart on ground and in forward, go to rear wheels and see if your axle is turning,check both sides.
