Default What the heck is it?

Please talk slow to me on this one cause I'm a little confused

Long story short I picked up this cart last weekend for $200 got it home and put some batteries in it and it ran like a champ. The basic parts look identical to my 1988 Marathon, aside from the controller setup. I ran the serial number and it tells me it's a 1996 Cushman Industrial? The serial number is on an EZGO tag? I assume EZGO makes Cushmans but you know what assuming can do...

I'm going to do a bunch of body work, lift kit and paint this bad boy Army green and give it to my father-in-law for Father's Day. I assume all the parts for a Marathon will fit (lift, front cowl, etc)? Anyone else ever fool with one of these?

Also, any other Army painted car pics out there to give me some ideas?

Thanks for listening.

Well I got it finished and delivered for Father's Day. It was way more body work than I wanted to do.

Basic Marathon parts fit, in case anyone wants to know.

FWIW: The serial number (A36492) returns the following of the EZGO look-up site.

Make: Cushman/Industrial
Type: Electric
Model: Electric XI500
Year: 1996

It is obviously a bit late, but this is the first time I opened this thread and I found this parts manual in my stash. For a 93/94, but should be close.

Very nice job. I like it. Being a plumber i'm kind of disappointed you didn't work the kitchen sink in the second picture into the build.

Ryan4T4, I just bought the exact same cart. I picked it up in Houston, also for $200. Sadly, mine is not anywhere near as good a shape as yours. My serial number is A36496 - only four away from yours in production!

JohnnieB, thank you so much for posting the manual. Like Ryan's, mine has an ID tag and decals that it is an EZ GO so I wouldn't have even known to look under Cushman.
