speedometer install
I've read where people have put bicycle speedometers on their cart. Instructions tell how to calibrate by tire size. Instructions don't show tire size as small as my cart tire. How do you calibrate the speedometer?

Re: speedometer install
Go to Speedhut.com for GPS analog speedometer. You can customize almost any part of it and the installation is a breeze. Mine is a 2 1/2 inch in-dash mount. I tried a bike speedometer first (magnet type), but couldn't get it to read. Magnet mount was difficult and wire to run from rear tire was a bit of work.Speedhut is well worth the money and I have had mine for several years with NO problems.

Re: speedometer install
Bike speedo should work. To calibrate, you need to measure the circumference of your tire. To get it accurate, you need an accurate measurement. Best way is to mark the tire and roll the cart several revolutions and then measure the distance and divide by the number of revs you did. Rolling it on the ground is more accurate than measuring the tire itself.

Re: speedometer install
Which one did you go with? Speedhut or Bike speedometer. Either way, a picture of it would be perfect!!
