Default 2004 club car ds lift help

I have a 2004 club car ds ge motor, and we are starting to off-road a little more. Mostly creek bed snake hunting. Anyway, I have a rear seat and haven't really noticed rubbing, still have stock 18x8.5x8 tires. From researching forums I think I want an A-Arm 6" lift, on eBay they seem to be from xx-2003.5 years. At the site sponsors, they seem to be $300 up, then the local shops want $120 to install. Is there another option? Spindles? Or just suck it up and save up? Thanks

Lift kits are pretty easy to install if you have a few tools and can wrench a little so save the install fee. There are combo sales all the time from sponsors and other sites but it isn't cheap. Figure probably $650 plus for tires wheels and lift is a decent deal

Is this a viable option?

No. Not if you want to lift the cart. That's nothing more than a set of low profile tires and wheels with a 1 inch front spacer. I'm assuming you want to run a 22 to 23 Inch off road tire and wheel combo? There are better options out there.
