Default looking for good used ezgo parts

got myself a 79 ezgo finally got her running rightish (just need to replace the carb instead of polishing a turd) well my drive clutch wasnt in the greatest shape on the axle (shivs look like they fell on a tree stump) cruising along the other day heard a pop (thinking fireworks since it was close to the 4th) made it a few more blocks and it just died lifted the seat to find my fuel filter (actually for my expedition) had fallen off the fuel line right into the belt flipping it over and ruining it (still usable just sometimes flips itself back over again)
anyways hoping to find someone close to me that i could snag some good used parts from (obviously going to go with a new belt) since i have yet to figure out if it would be cheaper to rebuild my rear end or just replace it (front seal leaks easy and cheap fix but left axle shaft is loose from the inside out nut is tight and bearing is good just a little play in and out)
i am here in burlington kansas and closes place i know that has parts (he is always busy and his boneyard is always muddy) is in emporia figure instead of bugging him all the time just see if i can find another place (maybe even closer)
here is a link to my youtube channel on my accomplishments and failures on it lol

Fuel filters aren't made by EZGO. An auto parts store should be able to provide a match if you bring yours in for them to look at. Steering ball joints might also be in stock, but the auto parts stores don't have a cross reference to EZGO. If the auto parts store has an older guy working there who has many years experience in the automotive industry, he is the one that can most likely help you. The one in my local ORileys store helped me find many parts for my 87 Cushman Truckster.

I don't know EZGO's very well, is that a Melex?
This thread was in the Misc. Gas Carts forum (Harley, Columbia, Melex)
I moved it to the Gas EZGO forum for a larger audience!

I can move it back if you wish?
