Default MCOR or Speed Sensor problem

Hi, New Member, first post: I recently bought a 2007 Precedent with (4) 12V batteries. The batteries were original, so I replaced them with new ones. The cart moves quickly in reverse. Going forward, starts off quick then slows and sometimes stops completely. Hitting the accelerator pedal gets me going again. I did the speed sensor test that is in the Sticky section. Pushing the cart I got nothing. Letting it freewheel down my downhill driveway, I get the beep, beep, as mentioned, but the cart does not slow down. Probably goes 15mph before I stop it by using the brake. Seems like I have symptoms of both MCOR and Speed Sensor failure. What do you guys think? Thanks!

If the MCOR is having issues, you can work the pedal up and down 20-30 times or so to see if that makes it better. Also, if you did the speed sensor test and it failed, then you need a new speed sensor. Might as well install a high speed magnet while you're replacing the sensor. You can get both from David at Revolution. He is a site sponsor.

Did this correct the issue? A friend of mine just bought a 2007 DS IQ and it's doing the same thing. Where should we start? Please help.

Did you perform the push test for the speed sensor circuit?

I'm trying to get some answers. As soon as I get some more information we'll get it figured out. Do you have the same issue as well?
