His is different. His is the white excel controller. It was used in the cars without the OBC. It's got a little different wiring.

I agree it sounds too good to be true.
That's why I'm asking the pros. I don't want to buy a can of worms.
I'm going to go look at it on Saturday. Is there any way to check the motor ?
Obviously if it smells burnt I will try to get it cheaper but is there anything else I need to look for?
Thanks again
Ken
If it starts with PH it's an Excel, PQ and it's an IQ system.

It won't have either of those prefixes. The IQ system is now gone forever in new vehicle production. The PH Excel cars have the OBC. The vehicles without the OBC have a different prefix, "JY" I believe it was. The controller is white instead of grey. As far as operation is concerned, it behaves exactly as the traditional Excel car.

Around here that cart is $7=8K new. I believe I would go for it.
I'm thinking it has the new charging system E.R.I.C

My 2014 CC Excel has serial number starting with JE.
It came with the white controller, no OBC, and the E.R.I.C. charger.

I agree with this, these carts are a lot more, new batteries on a cart 1 year old is throws another flag (over $700) for a set. Make darn sure it isn't stolen, check locally to see if the police has one stolen recently. I paid 2700 from a wholesaler for a 2012, used no damage.

If it is legit, that is an awesome deal.
