MCOR bad or...?

I inherited a 2010 Precedent recently but it seems to have intermittent throttle problems. It may work fine for awhile and then won't run at all. No solenoid clicking - just won't go. From what I've read on here a bad MCOR is a common problem. But I have no idea how to get to it much less check it. Or what else I should be checking.
Any help greatly appreciated!

It's almost definitely an MCOR problem. You have the classic symptoms. We sell lots of them. The MCOR is located beneath the accelerator pedal. You can access it by removing the floor mat. There are two T-40 Torx bolts on each side of the car holding the floormat under the retainers. Once you pull the floormat up, you'll need to remove the 2 T-40 and 2 T-30 torx bolts holding the pedal assembly in the cart. You can now lift the pedal assembly out of the vehicle and remove the old MCOR. The MCOR that you have now is what they call the MCOR2. It is still available, but the newer version "MCOR4" is what I recommend replacing it with. Part number "AM293001 - MCOR4 conversion kit" is what you'll need to order to replace it.
