Re: Losing the back-seat...
Mines a 54....So I'll have to hack-off all that extra, bag-holder stuff. Think I'll just get some flat-stock and go from there. I want to chop and lower the roof anyways. I've done it before.....

Re: Losing the back-seat...
You are correct kgsc. I found the struts and backrest-supports used on E-Bay for 66.00. I'd guess the diet will net me 100 or so pounds lighter... These are the ones I actually needed.

Re: Losing the back-seat...
Thanks jk but I'm going to sell the whole-kit together, seats, struts and all. Preferably local so's not to have to ship. Our town has been building connecting cart-paths. So there's a market here.

Ok! Ya I only need the mounting bracket, and you can't buy those individually.

Re: Losing the back-seat...
You just need the back to back seat-brackets? It's nothing but 1-1/4 flat bar. Be pretty easy to make.

Re: Losing the back-seat...
I'm putting a back seat on mine. I have all the stuff from a donor cart. One thing I noticed was the donor had more leafs on the rear springs. Im assuming thats for the extra weight. The springs are all bent, so I can't use them.
If you need the two leave springs, I would be willing to trade for a set of four leave ones. You might not like the ride if you have the four leafs. Also, you could shed some more weight. |

Re: Losing the back-seat...
Mine are still 2s Hel. The kit has not been on the cart but for a couple of months. Still have a great arch to them.
