not sure if they are the same, but on my Yamaha, there is a spacer in the rubber, if you cut it, so its shorter it allows you to tighten them down, or you can put washers on the top,, my motor was loose, prob. solved; steve

His motor mounts are completely shot. The engine frame is setting on the swing arm, there should be a gap. There is a steel bushing molded into the mount that will space it correctly, the large flat washer you see in photo prevents the engine frame from lifting off the mount. There should be 3 mounts on the 2pg frame, change them all. The 3pg uses 4 mounts.

Going to look for those mounts today when I get a free minute. I have some Yamaha snomobile motor mounts that look almost identical but I'm not about to play frankenstein. I'd rather go with what is supposed to be in there,

Ok so did some digging. Finding the motor mounts on line has not been very fruitful. I can find the center forward one but not the rear side ones. Called a local EZ-GO (well 20 mi. away local lol) he has some Marathons on the lot (new/used sales/used parts) So at this point I guess I make the drive and look at the boneyard and hope I get lucky... If anyone knows of a source I'm missing please pass it on.. Thanks!

They dont look the same unless the side ones just have the washer over the top of the same bushing whereas the front middle one does not. But that would explain finding only the one style. Thank you LOU

They are all the same, front one may be missing the washer. It's possible the motor has been out before and the washer is missing.

sweet, thanks gents... May still go to the boneyard tomorrow now that I know they're the same thing... If I don't get lucky and find good ones there's always on-line to fall back on. Besides who knows what other goodies lie in the boneyard.

Well boneyard didn't help, no biggie I can get the mounts on line. The guy had to have 200 carts and about 3 of them were gassers lol just my luck. BUT found a like new roof and supports for $50 bucks so I didn't leave empty handed. Man the new carts he had tho... I could've spent the afternoon there checkin them all out. Some fine rigs indeed. Lots of other parts I could scavenge too if need be...
