can't get up to max speed
I have a 2000 workhorse st 350. I can't get this to go over 8.5-9 mph, ( spec calls for 15 mph ) when in neutral and rev the rpm's up I notice the drive clutch is not compressing all the way in to push the belt to the top, it only goes half way up, driving it you can hear the motor racing but won't go over 8-9 mph, I tried adjusting the gov. but didn't help, please anybody have any idea, the motor sound great other then that, Thanks in advance.
