Throttle cable sticking
A while back I wrote about my governor arm freezing up but I just now got a chance to check it out in depth.
Turns out it wasn't the governor, but the cable from gov to throttle arm. I had recently replaced that cable and was wondering why it was sticking if it was new. Don't they grease the cable when assembling? Anyway, rather than keep on buying cables, should I just bypass governor and go straight from gas pedal cable to the throttle? Any tips appreciate. |
