The Powertron is a 160AH battery and the Trojan is 170AH. Your paying less but getting less AH and probably less quality construction also. There are people reporting good service from the Powertrons in the short run. On the other hand I haven't seen anyone raving about their 6 year old ones either.
I'm in the get the Trojan camp.
