Wanted to give you guys an update- it was the reed switch in charging receptacle that was toasted. That explains the electrical smell when the diode was connected backwards on primary posts of solenoid! Easy fix and thankful it wasn't the controller or motor.
Thanks for everyone's help! Body is off now. Almost finished paining frame, suspension components, then line-x to body this week! Also looking for help in replacing steering boot. |
