Default Load Test RXV

Quick question about load testing.

I think I may have a bad cell or connection somewhere based on a recent drop in driving distance based on my dash mounted battery meter. I think load teasting the batteries may be a good first step in tracking down the problem. Do I need to disconnect the batteries on my cart from each other to test them individually or can I just hoook up to the terminals on each battery as is? I have a basic hand-held load tester I use for cars, boats, etc.

I fried a controller hooking up a light switch on this cart when I first got it so I am very wary of doing anything with the batteries.

Thanks for the guidance suggestions. This forum has been a big help over the past few years.

Hey

Yes you can load test them while they are hooked up. Just never do it when the car is charging! Is your car using 12 volts or 8 volts?? Just curious
