battery charge interrupt question
i have a 36v series txt and i am using a dpi charger.
is it harmful,if i am charging the pack and i need to use the cart for a reason, will it harm the pack to unplug-use the cart for an indeterminate time-then start recharging? i try never to interrupt my charge cycle-but i have to,once in a blue moon, thanks! |

Re: battery charge interrupt question
If the DPI charger is in the bulk charge phase (15A or more on ammeter), I'd unplug the charger from AC power before unplugging it from cart to keep from arcing in the charge receptacle when the electrical contact is broken, but other than that, it won't hurt batteries or charger.
