Default G9 motor help

I notice my g9 has a small oil leak debating if i want to temp to find leak and repair and attempt a rebuild or do a engine swap and either get a rebuilt stock or get a different motor neither i have tried new to carts do alot of auto machanic work any tips info would be helpful

Oil leak isnt to bad at all ran it all summer and never had to add any oil can see the oil on front bottom and can smell it after running alot

Pull the plastic shroud off oil leak should be easy to find most common are valve cover gasket or crank case cover gasket witch is fairly easy to fix if you have any mechanical ability at all.. that being said if your motor still runs strong and you're satisfied stock performance I'd fix it and run it if you want a little more speed crank down the governor nut (search stickys for detailed info)

I notice a crack in clutch cover ill have to open it to try to se what caused it not sure what im looking at

These older carts are prone to breaking clutch weights and it will crack the cover once you pull the cover off if it's broke you will see it these carts are easy to work on once you understand the basics
