How can they all be bad? Or should I charge the two week batteries and then ck?
Got to work on the math here you don't have 8 batteries, and you can't use the voltage read off the batteries within 12 to 24 hours of coming off the charger...

Absolutely.... If on flat level ground you're dropping much below 48 volts towards 42 volts there is no energy left in the batteries...

Let’s sum up this all too long thread...hahahaha.....a dead battery or numerous dead batteries will kill your performance even with newer batteries and a voltage reading in the 50’s because the dead batteries block the current flow.

None of this makes sense. Do you have six 8 volt batteries, or do you have eight six volt batteries?

He has 4 threads on this:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ntil-warm.html
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ric-motor.html
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...y-voltage.html

Here is an OP:
Loose Power & Drainage?
"How do test the condition of the motor on my 48VClub Car DS Electric Cart?
Batteries charge up to 48+V"

Here is Sergio's response:
Default Re: Club Car speeds up and down until warm
"You have 4 threads going about your 2 bad batteries.
When you connect batteries in Series, the pack SOC is equal to the lowest battery.
Your 2 batteries at 7.5v are dead and it does not matter if the other batteries are brand new, the 2 bad batteries will prevent high current from flowing."

Sergio pretty well hit the nail on the head and there's no reason to waste any more time on these 4 threads. Until the OP's battery problem is resolved there's not much else that be done.

Hell while I said very little my first post nailed it...
After 16 hours on charge he has 48.5 volts or 50 % SOC = Batteries are toast
48.5 volts - 2 @ 7.5 volts (DEAD) = 33.5 volts by 4 = 8.375 or 80 % SOC = Batteries are toast...
Just saying...
