IDK but price is right. What type Ford are they talking about? Also, check the SOC on one of them. Would that be bad news?

It states the individual cells are 5.5Ah. Thirteen in series will give you 48 volts nominal, but still only 5.5 Ah. I'm not sure how this pack worked in the discontinued Ford C Max. Maybe it was discontinued because it wouldn't go over 5 MPH. |

Re: Would these batts work in a cart?
Looking closer at the listing the entire battery package works out to 1.4kwh. It takes a bunch of those cell clusters to make up the full battery package. Works out to 40 of these 5.5Ah clusters, wired parallel, to equal 220Ah?
40 x $75 = $3k Last edited by meimk; 01-03-2018 at 08:27 AM.. Reason: addition |

"Group of 13 cells to make 48V battery. Voltage range from 54.6V to 35.75V. Includes Bus Bars for 13 cells. May not look exactly like the picture, but will be Ford OEM." indicates the $75.00 cell pack is only 4 volts nominal. I would need more information to be certain. |

Re: Would these batts work in a cart?
Yeah, I don't know anything about batteries and won't claim to.
I saw the 5.5 AH spec and thought that the cart would actually probably run but that the run time would be very short. Heck, I was thinking for $100 it might be worth someone getting a set of these if for no other reason then to serve as a test pack for carts with no batts. So much for that idea. |
