Made the executive decision if it ain't broke don't fix it. Put it all back together put air in the tire, turns out the cotter pin cut a tiny little hole in the sidewall so I'm going to have to get a new tire. However, we were able to take it for a spin around the neighborhood everything working great. Which is amazing to me.
