No, you are just measuring resistance. It should be a smooth 0-5k as you press the pedal slowly. If you have voltage at the KSI and the throttle checks out, I would say bad controller.

Thank you.

And, as luck would have it I shoved outside to be in the daylight, now It's dark and raining. Studied the only diagram I can find for this cart, nothing color coded or labeled well.

Thank you Mr. Gray. I will do that tomorrow.

It's hard to find much on the Melex, but it is pretty much the same set up as a Marathon controller cart. The same controller.

Marathon. Now I know which EZ-GO it was. Don't know a lot about EZ-GO but I'm learning.

Doesn't matter which wire to + or -.
If it's like mine, the wires will be black and white.

Should be close to 0 with foot off, and around 5k with pedal all the way down.

I have lots of Marathon diagrams, if you need 'em.

Thanks everybody. Throttle tested fine. Controller must be bad.

I have one I don't know anything about I may try tonight.

Again thanks to all!

Good deal! EZGO's aren't much different than club cars. Just a different throttle type. To me they're easier to work on because they didn't change something every year like club car.
