48 volt TXT EZGO
Just got my first 48 volt ez go golf cart 2010. Looks good, just want run. I need a little help, well lots of help.
To start with batteries are old, but have 49.8 volts. I checked voltage to the solenoid on small post (all test are with neg.lead on Neg post of battery) Have pack volts on each post. I know that they have removed the fuse link on the 48 volt ones. Now I have no solenoid click. I have no way to check anything as far as instruction go. I sure wish it was like the old 36 txt's. Now is anyone can send or post testing on these carts, it will be a great help. Thanks all Sonny |

Re: 48 volt TXT EZGO
Does anyone know how to bypass the reed switch on a 2010 48 volt ezgo.
I know it's not the same, but works the same way, I have been told. Thanks SOnny |

Re: 48 volt TXT EZGO
Print this diagram for the TXT48
I have highlighted in red all the wires that MUST have 48v positive (+) when the key is on, F&R in F, go pedal is depressed, and the solenoid CLICKS. |

Re: 48 volt TXT EZGO
Lower left quarter of diagram. Connects to pin 5 on controller. Will be found near charge port on cart.

CG
If i'm reading you right, then this bypasses the reed switch and If that's the only thing wrong, then the cart should run? Thanks for all the help. Sonny |
