Default 2003 club car iq acceleration issues

I have a 03 club car iq 48v and lately the cart occassionally wont run or accelerate. I can push the accelerator, I hear a click but no movement. Other times it will run just fine then a mile down the road the car will just stop running. After a few minutes and toggling on/off or tow/run it will go again for a bit.

Any thoughts on what this may be? I tried following the solenoid tests with a voltmeter and it seems fine. Thanks!
