Default Two problems?

I got a no-go situation that I've been working on with no joy. Of course, otherwise I'd be out driving my DS instead of bothering you nice people.
Here we go.
Battery indicator comes on, no reverse buzz, solenoid doesn't click but it's brand new and I tested it by jumping the battery power to the two clips. (unhooked everything else when I tested it.) Clicks on when I did that. Battery pack has 50 volts when I use one DVM but my other one doesn't want to read 50v on the end. This is making me think that maybe my battery connectors may need to be replaced. But wait, there is more. I also did the below tests which makes me think it may also be a bad MCOR. I will paste now from an different post along with my results in these brackets --> { } plus underline and italics. Thanks in advance to anyone who can follow this and add any suggestions.

(borrowed from different post. Sorry I forgot which guru to give credit to. I wanna say NoleFan4Ever but not sure. Any who...) --->
If the solenoid is not engaging, it is a few easy things to run down:

Do these in order

1- Unplug the two pin connector from the MCOR (under the floor and connected to a linkage from the pedal) and jump out the connector with a paper clip or a small piece of wire. It will be a blue wire and green wire connector. If it runs with the jumper in place, your MCOR has failed.
{I did this and had no change}

if still a problem,

2- With the batteries connected, Tow/Run switch in Run; place the black (–) probe on packs main Negative post and the red (+) probe on the yellow wire at the 3-pin connector near the MCOR. (The reading should be approximately ~0.32 - .5vdc with the pedal up). Slowly press the Go Pedal and the readings should increase until it reaches ~4.65 - 5vdc when the pedal is fully pressed. (Anything less than 4.60vdc and you are not reaching full throttle). If the reading is erratic or jumps all over the place it is a bad MCOR output signal.....

{I get .09 vdc not pressed and 1.0 vdc with throttle depressed so I am assuming that my MCOR is toast but I kept testing just in case.}

If still a problem,

3- At the solenoid small posts do the following:
- Take your DVM and place the red lead on the solid blue wire and the black lead on the main pack negative. You should get 48vdc (If not, we lost the Pos Input)
{I get nothing} actually has a 1 on the far left.

- Next, take your DVM and place the black lead on the blue/white stripe wire and the red lead on the main pack positive. You should get 48vdc (If not, we lost the Neg input)
{I get .40}

So am I right in thinking that my batteries aren't putting out and my MCOR is bad? Is there any more tests I should do at this time?
Thanks again for following along this far. Cheers!

And since writing the above I have cleaned all of my battery connections. Still no joy. My DVM reads all individual batts at 8.36v-8.40v but when I go to add them up from last neg on up it won't go past 16.8 volts. It shows a 1 off to the left of readout with all the rest of the batteries as I try to read them in order. Same with total pack pos to neg. I'm not great with the DVM and don't know what that error means but it can't be good, right?

The 1 on the left indicates an “out of range” condition. I suspect you are set to the 20Vdc scale which is great for checking individual batteries but you need to switch to the 200Vdc scale when checking the pack so as not to exceed the scales range. HTH

Make sure all battery connections are correct, clean snug etc. Put your DVM on the correct setting and check pack voltage.

Thanks to all for that info. It’s very much welcome.
I will go back and check with proper DVM setting and edit this reply with findings shortly.
Cheers

Yes, you guys were right. My settings were off. So switching it to correct setting i get 50volts overall. So I am guessing that it’s just the MCOR at this point.
I have a new one coming tomorrow. I hope that is the problem. Cheers

Glad it was something simple and not a bad battery pack.

So I installed the new MCOR yesterday and my problem still exists. Something must be disconnected because I’m not getting pack voltage to the small clips on solenoid. When I have DVM negative attached to pack last negative I get the following readings. Please see pics.
One other bit of info that might help is that I recently bypassed my OBC using a technic I leaned about here. I jumped the blue and white wires on the harness going to the OBC and it worked perfect for a day. Then i ran a line from battery charge port to the pack negative using black wire that used to go to the OBC. (Not the big one that passes thru it.) I did that so I could use a different smart charger. But I guess I wasn’t too smart and screwed something up cause car no go no more.

Also, what about the gray wire with the yellow fuse holder? Now that i’ve bypassed the OBC is it even doing anything? Thanks
