Trying to Avoid Twisting Motor Terminals Off
I'm changing the cables to 2gauge cables and one of the nuts is stubborn on the motor terminal and not wanting to move. It is twisting the whole thing. I'm using two wrenches to hold the bottom nut still but the terminal is still twisting. I've already ruined one motor by doing this on an old Marathon. Twisted the whole thing right off. Any tips on how to get stubborn nuts off so I don't break the terminal off?

Re: Trying to Avoid Twisting Motor Terminals Off
Maybe soak it in BP blaster along with wire brush threads above nut to help loosen nut so once it breaks loose it will screw off.

Re: Trying to Avoid Twisting Motor Terminals Off
If the terminals are already twisting then the damage is already done. You may need to look in to getting new brushes or possibly sending the motor off to PlumQuick to get refurbed.
