I'm not aware of restrictions for private messages but maybe someone knows if there are? I've succesfully sent messages to others.

The Regen-1 drive system is all but 100 percent unsupported. It doesn't function exactly like any other drive system. Use the search function and do some reading on this site. Older posts will cover common issues and tests better than newer ones. Upgrading your system (if you want to do that) involves pulling your entire wiring harness and replacing it with an IQ type harness and IQ controller plus other misc OEM bits and parts. Your only source to do that is David at Revolution Golf Cars because he has done this to many Regen-1's. You can still buy a compatible controller (not cheap) but its not much of a performer. It will work though. Maybe the ability for PMs requires a few more days as a member. In any case there's enough historic reading to help you understand what you bought.

The charging part yes but no guarantee on lockout. Wish you could download manual. Maybe contact site admin to resolve. One thing you can do is pull and refit connectors after spraying each with contact cleaner or alcohol. The multipin Z connector on the controller is a bit notorious for poor or corroded connection. Since you hear no distinct click when you turn the key I would look for voltage between the small posts of the main solenoid but must measure within 10 to 20 seconds of turning the key, or by keeping the pedal down (with key on) voltage should stay on.

Good. Thats working properly. Does the main solenoid click once again when you depress the Go pedal?

Update, battery pack 48.8(I know not fully charged, but enough to do these test)

1--Key off-neutral-on drive solenoid,48.8 battery side,47.7 controller side(not pressing acclerator)

2-- key on-neutral,drive solenoid clicks,48.8 batt side,48.8 cont side(not pressing accl)

3-- key on,forward or reverse,Press Accl ,brake solenoid engages, and whine from motor

Only time drive solenoid engages is when key switch is turned on
